Catalog description

Covers applied statistics intended to permit students to become critical readers of common research publications by developing student’s ability to understand statistical terminology and calculations. With this basic understanding, students will be able to define and develop an evidence informed approach to clinical practice. Students will propose and answer a clinical question using the PICO approach and review of the current literature using sound practices. This course is offered in the fall semester, year 1.
