Catalog description
First in a series of courses in professional development which introduces the concepts of professionalism, professional behaviors, and accountability. The primary focus of this course is to set the foundation for success in the classroom and developing effective strategies for learning. The course will also introduce the concept of the physical therapist as a teacher. The course is also intended to develop successful strategies for managing stress and anxiety, accountability, grit/resilience, and tolerance with ambiguity in education and health care. This course is offered in the summer semester, year 1.
