Catalog description

Seminar topics on the clinical science of psychology vary according to needs and interests of students and faculty. Based on the primary source empirical literature, the emphasis is on contemporary research and theory relating to psychopathology, assessment, and intervention. Examples include alcoholism and addictions, autism and intellectual disability, health psychology and primary prevention, couple therapy, OCD, and mood disorders. Prerequisites: Enrollment in the clinical science PhD program and approval of director of clinical training.
