Catalog description

Within a framework of evidence-based practice, this course seeks to develop basic skills in paradigmatic CBT procedures as well as to convey an understanding of the fundamentals of psychotherapy. Topic areas include, but are not limited to: case formulation, effective psychotherapy, exposure procedures, modeling, cognitive therapies, etc. presented via demonstrations, in-class practice, lectures, and discussion. Recommended for first semester of second year.
