PSYC 610Advanced Technology in Science

This course designation is for Doctoral Programs in Psychology to provide 2-credits worth of electives toward the Doctoral Degree for students who take approved microcredential-based (non-credit bearing) courses through the Watson School of Engineering, other units on campus, or outside institutions that offer advanced technical training in the sciences such as computer programming (Matlab, Python), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Genetic techniques, or other techniques that would enable path-breaking research. Registration in PSYC 610 requires consent of the Area Coordinator and the student's faculty mentor. Satisfactory completion of PSYC 610 will require concurrent registration for, and successful completion of, an approved microcredential course. Graded on Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis only.
