Catalog description

Students will become knowledgeable of and how to act in accordance with the current version of the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct; relevant laws, regulations, rules, and policies governing clinical psychology at the organizational, local, state, regional, and federal levels; and relevant professional standards and guidelines. By the end of the course, students will be able (1) to recognize ethical dilemmas as they arise, and apply ethical decision-making processes in order to resolve the dilemmas; (2) to conduct themselves in an ethical manner in all professional activities; and (3) to respond professionally in complex situations across various settings and tasks.
