Psychometrics, including topics such as theory and techniques of psychological measurement, scale and inventory construction, reliability, validity, evaluation of measurement quality, classical and contemporary measurement theory, standardization, generalizability and utility. Introduction to test development and item analysis for research and clinical purposes. Theoretical and practical issues related to assessment of cognitive abilities and personality. Recommended for first semester of first year. Prerequisites: enrollment in clinical training program and approval of director of clinical training. Offered fall semester,
