Catalog description

Examines how information received by an individual is represented and used for action. Attention is examined from different perspectives, including consideration of the effects of attention, the nature of attention and of attentional selection, types of attention and the objects of attention. Different types of performances are considered as they are measured in standard perception and recognition procedures. Considers the representation and control processes involved in the production of complex actions such as typing and reaching.
