Coverage of issues in the development of perception, learning and memory, from prenatal through childhood, taking a cognitive neuroscience perspective. Development of representations, categories and concepts; language development is also discussed but is not a focus. Topics in the development of reasoning and problem-solving are included. Some discussion of deviations from normal development. Prerequisite: Non-matriculated graduate students must have written permission of instructor.
