Catalog description
Historical/philosophical background and development of contemporary thought and approaches in psychology. Origins, contributions and influences from philosophy and the sciences in the context of some general considerations of the prevailing historical Zeitgeist; an “evolution” of current research and theory. Prerequisites: PSYC 111 and PSYC 243 with a grade of C or higher, and PSYC 344 with a grade of C- or higher. Students must earn a grade of C- or higher for this course to apply to the major. Restricted to junior and senior psychology and integrative neuroscience majors only.
