Introduction to the field of learning research. Much of subject matter concerns associative learning, particularly classical and operant conditioning. In addition, the behavior systems approach is covered, as is the topic of stimulus control. Physiological underpinnings of learning are also discussed. Cognitive learning topics are covered, and a major part of course deals with memory. Students must earn a grade of C- or higher for this course to apply to the major. Prerequisite: PSYC 111 with a grade of C or higher Prerequisite or co-requisite: PSYC 243 with a grade of C or higher
