PSYC 327Evolution And Behavior

The roles of evolution and experience within an animal's ecological niche in influencing behavior across the animal kingdom will be examined. Comparative and ethological studies of how behavior is organized at various and representative levels of the animal kingdom including humans will be discussed. Students must earn a grade of C- or higher for this course to apply to the major. Note: Students who have credit in BIOL 375 will not earn credit in PSYC 327. Prerequisite: Passing grade in PSYC 111 or its equivalent.
