Catalog description

The goal of this science-based course is to understand intimate relationships, defined as a relationship in which there is mutual influence that is resilient, sustained, and includes - minimally - the potential for expressed sexual passion. Topics will include sex - including the issue of sexual violence - and cover the range of relationship development from attraction to discord to dissolution. By the end of the course, you should have a better understanding of intimate relationships, including how they work, how they can be better, and how they influence every aspect of our lives. Offered once a year in the fall.
