Topics in Executive Politics

Catalog description

Course examines executive politics at the national and/or sub-national levels in the United States. The focus may be on the general features of executive politics, including functions and powers of the executive, structure of the executive offices and agencies, bureaucratic culture, and the goals and actions of political and nonpolitical employees of the executive branch. Seminar format is heavily dependent upon student participation. The course may be repeated for credit.
