Advanced seminar devoted to the rights of the criminally accused, particularly under the 4th, 5th, 6th and 14th Amendments as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court. Students will learn to read Supreme Court decisions and to conduct basic original legal research. Evaluation based primarily on two simulations of U.S. Supreme Court decision making (which include both written and oral components) and two exams.
