Electrodynamics from standpoint of Maxwell’s equations; relativistic formulation, radiation theory, boundary-value problems, wave guides, cavity resonators, classical electron theory. Prerequisite: junior course in electricity and magnetism, senior course in mathematical methods. Offered in spring semester.
