Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the application of various mathematical tools to specific problems in physics. Methods will include complex numbers, eigenvalue problems in linear algebra, partial differential equations, matrices, Fourier transforms, and probability. Prerequisites are MATH 224/225, MATH 226/227, MATH 323. Offered spring semester.
