PHSC 610: Cellular and Molecular Basis of Human Diseases: This course will provide and reinforce foundational knowledge in the pathophysiology and molecular basis of human disease using representative disease examples to illustrate key principles. Students will learn to link fundamental genetic, molecular and cellular components of disease to primary and secondary aspects of disease pathogenesis in select organ systems. Students will learn to read, evaluate and discuss selected primary research and review articles addressing the cellular and molecular basis of disease. (
