PHSC 519: Analytical Methods and Instrumentation II: This course is designed to introduce students to common methodologies in pharmaceutical and biomedical research. Students will gain a theoretical understanding of experimental techniques, protocols, and associated equipment; apply their knowledge to various observation and/or practical laboratory experiments; and analyze and interpret associated experimental data. Methodologies in this course include centrifugation isolation, chromatography (small and large molecule), LCMS, proteomics, and methods for detection of protein binding/folding. (
