PHRM 580U Women’s Health Across the Lifespan: This course provides an in-depth review of pharmacotherapy and clinical considerations in women’s health across the lifespan. Content includes contraception, fertility treatments, pregnancy-related conditions, intrapartum and postpartum care, menopause, and chronic diseases with increased prevalence in women. Students will apply knowledge through prescribing simulations, counseling exercises, journal clubs, and clinical case activities. Social, cultural, and ethical issues, including reproductive justice and evolving postpartum practices, are integrated to support holistic, patient-centered pharmacy care. (
