PHRM 580D: Healthy Lifestyle Interventions Healthy Lifestyle Interventions is an elective course that explores components of a healthy lifestyle from biological and human behavioral perspectives. The goal is to define and understand unhealthy behaviors and their persistence, and to learn and apply the neurobiology of behavioral modification to promote healthy lifestyles. Topics of study include concepts such as nutrition, kinesiology, sleep, stress, reward/addiction, relationships/peer support, and attitude/self-efficacy. Students will apply these concepts in a longitudinal project where they practice these approaches in their own life. (
