PHRM 516: Pharmaceutical Calculations II The ability to accurately perform pharmaceutical calculations is essential to providing safe patient care in virtually all pharmacy practice settings. In this second of two pharmaceutical calculations courses, students will apply the basic concepts and skills learned in Pharmaceutical Calculations I (PHRM 514) to selected dosing and clinical calculations, intravenous infusion and parenteral admixture solutions preparation calculations, and calculations used in extemporaneous compounding. Students will work/self-learn in small groups on representative calculation problems with adequate opportunity to receive assistance from faculty. (
