PHRM 512: Pharmacy Law This course provides an overview of the federal and state systems of government and emphasizes how laws are enacted and executed as well as how cases are adjudicated within these two systems. Additionally, the course provides a more detailed analysis of various federal and state laws that impact the practice of pharmacy in the United States along with a discussion of the public policy reasons and debates underlying those laws. As well, key regulations affecting drug development and distribution will be discussed. The laws and practices of New York will be used as primary examples of the types of laws and practices that generally exist within the individual states. (
