Philosophy Practicum

Catalog description

The course addresses topics pertaining to the successful navigation of the academic profession, and the profession of philosophy in particular. Topics include effective and inclusive teaching, participation in forums for the presentation of philosophical research, publishing, the construction of a dossier, the development of skills relevant to successfully participating in the job market, and the like. Prerequisite: Graduate standing. Offered each semester.
