Is death bad? Can you be harmed after death? Why is killing wrong? And what do our answers mean for the morality - and legality - of things like abortion, suicide, euthanasia, and the death penalty? In this class, we will attempt to answer these questions. We will consider the moral dimensions of these topics, while also comparing how different jurisdictions have legislated on matters relating to death.
