Catalog description

This course focuses on the environmental, social, economic, cultural, behavioral, biological, clinical, and regulatory factors that influence health. Students will develop analytic skills for investigating, characterizing, and addressing health disparities within and across populations. Students will be introduced to the concept of health equity and will be provided with a broad overview of health disparities in the United States.
