This course will address public policy development and analysis, and its impact on public health. The course will explore how legislative/regulatory decisions must balance individual rights and public good and discuss factors that influence public health policymaking including advocacy, social justice, and ethics. This course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to collect, analyze, and communicate information with key stakeholders in the policy arena.
