Catalog description
This foundational course covers the normal physiology of human growth, development, and aging as well as the pathophysiology of disease states with a focus on conditions of public health significance. Students will examine the mechanisms of infectious and chronic diseases as well as the role of genetics, nutrition, and health behaviors in relation to population health.
