Elementary Persian II

Catalog description

Elementary Persian II is the second course of a Persian language program that is divided into three levels and carries the students from the elementary to the advanced level. This course builds on Elementary Persian I but places more emphasis on listening, comprehension and on speaking standard Persian (Farsi), the form of Persian taught in the Persian-speaking world, which includes not only Iran but also parts of Afghanistan and Tajikistan. This course fulfills the second level general education requirement.
