A beginner’s course for reading and responding orally to simple Modern Standard Persian (i.e., Farsi, the form of Persian taught in the Persian-speaking world in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan). Intended to develop comprehension and communication skills; materials include formal speeches, electronic media broadcasts, and fiction and non-fiction print media.
