Catalog description

This course examines the role of global governance institutions in preventing atrocities, emphasizing the inherent challenges of creating and enforcing universal laws and norms in a diverse and polarized world. We will identify factors shaping the international community’s ability to contribute towards prevention efforts, and connect the ‘big picture’ of international relations to the more granular details of atrocity prevention.
