Catalog description
This second part of Fieldwork Level 1 builds on the application of occupational therapy skills pertinent to the use of physical and developmental interventions across the lifespan. Students gain an enhanced appreciation of physical, psychological, cognitive, and social factors that influence engagement in occupation. This one-hour seminar provides for a problem-based learning context for the development of clinical reasoning skills in occupational therapy and facilitates the translation of lessons from the classroom to clinical examples in order to enhance observation skills and intervention planning processes. Fieldwork level 1 placement once weekly. Course fee applies. Refer to the Schedule of Classes.
