Catalog description

This is the first of 4 professional reasoning courses that interlace the curriculum to enrich problem-solving and to form the basis of achieving reasoned decision making. The experiences in the coursework in the first year of the curriculum will serve as the basis of knowledge and observation to enrich the development of clinical decision-making. This seminar series addresses the development of the Capstone project. Students will explore populations and contexts of interest for their potential to seek change. Discussion will focus on barriers and facilitators to the identified population such as but not limited to ethics, policies, geography, or culture.
