NURS 661 - Teaching Practicum Provides students with the opportunity to engage in a directed teaching experience with undergraduate students. The material taught and the settings are individually designed by the faculty supervisor to both meet the needs of different graduate students and also leverage their particular clinical expertise. Course is required to meet Nursing PhD degree requirements for students who have had no prior teaching experience. 2 credits; Fall & Spring semesters. Note: There is a mandatory liability insurance fee of $12. This fee is charged only once a semester, even if you are enrolled in multiple classes that carry the same fee.
