N.652 DNP Scholarly Project II Format: Online lecture (1 hour per week) and Clinical (8 hours per week with assigned preceptor) This course is the second in a three-semester sequence required of all DNP students. This course focuses on the continued development and implementation of the DNP Scholarly Project. It is expected that students will begin this course with a first draft of chapters one, two and three completed. Course activities will include applying for and receiving IRB approval, obtaining funds for project implementation if applicable, collecting project information, and working collaboratively with clinical agencies where the project will be implemented. An updated review of the literature will be continued this semester while simultaneously implementing the scholarly project. It is expected that chapters three and four will be completed by the end of this course. Barriers and facilitators of DNP scholarly projects will be discussed. This course is restricted to DNP Students only ALL DNP students registering for N.652 must register for both the lecture section A 0 and a clinical section. When selecting your clinical section, please register for the clinical section that is taught by your DNP Committee Chair person. NOTE: this course is taught as an ONLINE HYBRID--meaning all lectures are delivered online EXCEPT on the following dates when students are required to be on campus to meet course objectives: These will be the synchronous dates for N652 via zoom. All classes are 6-8pm. We are not holding any in-person sessions - all will be held via Zoom 8/18 9/15 10/21 12/8 Prerequisite: NURS 651. 3 cr. (Didactic 1 cr., Practicum 2 cr.) **Please note this course has a mandatory liability and insurance fee of $12. This fee is charged ONLY once a semester, even if you are enrolled in multiple classes that carry the same fee** .
