Catalog description

This course is designed to assist the advanced practice nurse in gaining the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to provide care in using telehealth technology, to provide healthcare to rural and vulnerable populations. Throughout the course, we will examine the different technologies available that can foster clinical practice and outreach to patient populations. All students will have the opportunity to engage in simulation experiences using different types of telehealth technologies as a means of preparing themselves for future practice. N.502 is a required pre-requisite to this course.
