Catalog description

This course introduces students to the illness phase of the health-illness continuum. Problems of altered mobility related to psychological, physiological, social, environmental, chemical, intellectual and social domains and nursing interventions are examined. Crisis resolution and nursing interventions directed at social, emotional, physical and intellectual immobility. Nursing interventions essential to foster reality orientation, motivation and re-motivation of clients; maintenance and restoration of health; role reconceptualization.
