Advanced EMT–Critical Care I

Catalog description
Reinforces competency in all EMT-B skills and equipment usage. Students become able to provide advanced life support using intravenous therapy, manual or semi-automatic defibrillation and advanced adjuncts to control the airway in cases of respiratory and cardiac arrest. Pre-requisites: Current New York certification as an EMT-Basic that will not expire prior to the conclusion of the course.
