Image / Movement / Digital Media will explore electronic composition for film and dance through both creative work and analysis. Areas of inquiry will include sound design, composing for film, and composing for recorded and live choreography, using both digital audio workstations (DAWs) and film editing software throughout the semester. Prerequisite is experience in composing music (Intro to Composition or its equivalent), previous knowledge of a DAW will be helpful, but not required.
