Independent reading in vocal pedagogy. Students will read and discuss literature covering the history of vocal pedagogy, anatomy and physiology, posture and alignment, breathing, phonation, registration, resonance, articulation, interpretation, pedagogy of musicianship, and studio management. Research papers and one oral presentation expected in addition to participation in discussions. Prerequisite: At least 2 semesters of MUSP 256A.
