Catalog description

This course provides an understanding of the systems development and modification process. It enables students to choose and adapt system development methodologies. In approaching a project, this course teaches students the principles of high-quality information requirements determination and specification through effective communication with users and all other stakeholders in systems development and maintenance and appropriate documentation standards. Participatory approaches like JAD, SSM, ETHICS or prototyping are emphasized. Prerequisite: MGMT 500.
