Advanced Methodology Project I

Catalog description

This course is a doctoral-level seminar on advanced research methods. Although you have learned about a variety of general research methods topics, approaches, and analyses in your prior courses, this course is designed to help you develop a deeper level of understanding about a particular methodological topic, approach, or analysis technique that is likely to be important to your specific area of research. As you will need to continually teach yourself new research methods and analyses throughout your career as a scientist, this course is also designed to help you identify and execute a plan for learning a new research method and/or analyses without the formalized structure and guidance from a course focused on the method. Offered as needed.
