Catalog description

This course is a doctoral-level seminar in Organization Theory (OT). Our goal is to develop an understanding of what the organization is, what organizing means, delve into some of the history of theorizing about the organization, and think about the role of organizing and organizational theory in the future of management research. Much of the research that you have studied so far focuses of individuals, dyads, teams, etc. that are part of organizations. In this course we will focus on the organization. Offered as needed.
