Catalog description

Application of fundamental principles of mechanics and strength of materials to mechanical engineering design problems. Topics include fatigue, stress concentrations, and failure theories. Decision making and engineering judgment for open-ended problems are emphasized. Prerequisites: ME 362 and ME 381. Offered in the Spring semester.
