Catalog description

Introduction to project selection and project control. Topics include basic engineering economics (present worth, discounted cash flow, etc.), feasibility studies, cost estimating, risk analysis, project planning, scheduling and control. Open-ended projects with multiple alternatives strongly emphasized. Professional practice factors in management of projects. Prerequisite: Senior standing or approval of department chair. Offered in the Fall semester.
