Catalog description

Application of computational methods to solve engineering and scientific problems. Topics covered include numerical methods (curve fitting, solution of linear and nonlinear equations, integration, ordinary and partial differential equations), graphical visualization and statistical analysis using MATLAB. Prerequisites: ME 212. Prerequisite that can be taken concurrently: ME 302. Offered in the Spring semester and the Summer session.
