No previous experience required. Duties vary semester to semester. The work of the intern may involve participation in CEMERS programming (publicizing, setting up, and attending the talks in our lecture series, assisting at CEMERS conferences, etc.) or assistance at the University Art Museum. It can also involve editorial assistance to the academic journal Mediaevalia and other publications, working with the editor of Mediaevalia at all stages of the publication process - from manuscript submissions and review through editing and proofreading - to develop copy-editing skills and knowledge of academic publishing. Permission of instructor required. 2 credits. Students who wish to participate in an internship and who have previously been convicted of a felony are advised that they will be asked about their prior criminal history. This may impede your ability to participate in certain internships. Students who have concerns about such matters, or are looking for additional information, are advised to contact the dean's office of their intended academic program.
