Catalog description

This is the second course in a 2-semester undergraduate real analysis sequence. This course covers fundamentals of mathematical analysis, including selected topics from the following: a more advanced study of sequences and series of functions, differentiation and integration on Rn, and a very basic introduction of Lebesgue measure and integration on R and Rn. It shows the utility of abstract concepts and teaches an understanding and construction of proofs. Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 478, or consent of instructor. Spring only.
