Catalog description

A mathematically rigorous introduction to probability theory. Topics include probability spaces, combinatorial methods, conditional probability, discrete and continuous random variables, univariate and multivariate distributions, moment-generating functions, transformations, convergence concepts, and the central limit theorem. Prerequisites: C or better in MATH 323, or consent of instructor. Every semester.
