Development of probabilistic concepts in discrete and absolutely continuous cases. Classical combinatorial methods, iIndependence, random variables, distributions, moments, transformations, conditioning, confidence intervals, estimation. Open to Watson School students only. Does not serve as a prerequisite for MATH 448 or any other actuarial science courses. There is a $80 inclusive access fee associated with this course which provides required course materials at a discounted price. You may choose to opt-out of this fee and will be provided instructions from your instructor on how to do so. Prerequisites: Grade of C- or better in MATH 222 or 227 or 230 or consent of department.
